I have been providing ABA services to children with Autism since 2015, when I began working as a behavior therapist in a center-based program in Florida. In 2009, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina. I continued my education, receiving a Master’s degree in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Subsequently, I earned my BCBA through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). I’m currently enrolled in a PhD program to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology.
Over the years, I worked with children of all ages, and adults developing a passion for ABA therapy. My professional passions are working on language acquisition and functional communication training to further reduce challenging behaviors and increase my client’s quality of life. Watching my clients grow, and succeed is the most rewarding feeling! I also recognize that parents/guardians are central to the learning process, and ultimately to the client’s success. I always welcome parents/guardians’ input and value their expertise as the client’s first and best teacher.
